Special note about parking

Please be aware that parking in the Lakeview/Boystown neighborhood can be a challenge after 5:00 P.M., also anytime on festival weekends, and on Chicago Cubs home game days/nights. Metered parking is available along Halsted from 8:00AM-10:00PM, then free overnight from 10:00PM-8:00AM. Read all posted signs. Off-street parking, on east-west residential side streets such as Brompton, Cornelia, Newport, Roscoe, and north-south Elaine, to the east backside of the inn, is available with a free city parking permit that we will issue at check-in. There are also three parking lots near The Villa Toscana, 100 feet north at the NW intersection of Halsted and Cornelia, or 1200 feet south, next to FFC/Steamworks, or next door to the Best Western Hotel on Broadway south of Cornelia, at varying rates. The lot to the northwest of the inn generally charges $12 for overnight parking on weeknights and $35 on weekends. The rates can be higher during special events and Chicago Cubs home night games. Full information is available on the self-park kiosk located in the lot. If you are driving to our neighborhood, an earlier arrival is always better than a later arrival! And, Chicago is a city with an excellent transit system consisting of buses and trains. You really don’t need a vehicle when you visit Chicago!
